Dansk Danseteater for Børn: JOSEPH_KIDS (Ages 5-6)

Dansk Danseteater for Børn invites children aged 5-6 to a three-session dance programme inspired by the production JOSEPH_KIDS, created by Alessandro Sciaroni. No prior dance or movement experience is required.

Each session lasts one hour and combines dance as a spectator experience - with samples from the productions - with creative movement games where children are actively involved. The content varies from session to session and can range from choreographed superhero duels to sculptures made with their own and each other's bodies, always accompanied by music, costumes, props or scenography from Dansk Danseteater's universe. At the end, parents are invited into the studio to participate actively alongside their children.

The activities are facilitated by Dansk Danseteater's permanent dance educator and the company's professional dancers.

Price: 225 kr. for all three sessions
Parking: Car park under Operaen (35 kr./hour); bicycle parking in front of the building. Operaen is accessible by several bus lines, including line 2A.
While children dance: Parents can wait in the foyer at Takkelloftet, where coffee is served, or visit nearby cafés such as Heart Bageri or Operaen's café in Operaparken.
