Autumn drawing course 2026 - Sundays at Thorvaldsens Museum with drawing instructor Henrik Leach Hansen. The course runs from Sunday, 13 September, 13:00-16:00 and ends on 6 December - same time each Sunday. The class in week 42 (18 October) is not held.

The course covers anatomy, composition, proportions and planes, and you work with fundamental drawing techniques using the museum's spaces, current exhibitions and Thorvaldsen's sculptures as inspiration. The course is for anyone who wants to improve their drawing skills, including those considering education in design, architecture or visual art.

The price is 1,800 kr. for all 12 sessions and includes museum entry on course days. Places are limited.

The museum provides drawing boards and clips. You should bring your own HB pencil, 6B pencil and eraser. Paper in four qualities can be purchased at the museum.
