Late Runner

Late Runner performs a free concert at Gnisten as part of Culture Day in Skanderborg Municipality. The duo consists of Asger Tarpgaard and Tanja Simonsen, who have played together since childhood and participated in the Danish Melodi Grand Prix in spring 2026.

Their sound is built on synthesizer, bass and guitar, two-part vocals and a rhythmic pulse from drums and tape loops. With the album "You're an Animal" behind them, they present a mature expression where the tempo is slower and the lyrics reflect experience.

The concert features standing room on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a disability and need assistance getting in, you are welcome to contact Gnisten in advance. The event is supported by the Culture Fund and Skanderborg Municipality.
