Late Runner is a Danish duo made up of Asger Tarpgaard and Tanja Simonsen, who have played music together since childhood. Their sound draws on synthesizer, bass, guitar and two-part vocals, driven by a rhythmic pulse of drums and tape. They took part in the Danish Melodi Grand Prix in spring 2026, and their album "You're an Animal" shows a more measured, lyrically mature side of the pair.
