Friday: Concert with DR Big Band

DR Big Band performs at Textilen on October 2nd with Japanese conductor Miho Hazama leading the ensemble - a concert celebrating Swinging Europe's 30th anniversary. Hazama and DR Big Band have made a strong mark on the international jazz scene, and their collaboration is the focal point of the evening.

The programme features music from the band's forthcoming album on Edition Records - an album with compositions written by Hazama specifically for DR Big Band - as well as selections from the band's archive and highlights from its recently celebrated 60th anniversary.
