FREKVENT + Nirmata + Ækvator

FREKVENT is a Danish hard rock band built on guitar-driven riffs, heavy energy, and a strong melodic sense. They flirt with metal and odd time signatures without losing focus on melody. Their debut album "In Hubris" came out on November 14, 2025, leaning more heavily into progressive rock and metal than their earlier EPs "Unfinished Symmetry" (2021) and "Unbroken" (2023). The album has received strong reviews and is nominated for a DAMA award in the "Rock Release of the Year" category. The band features Niklas Skovbo Jespersen (vocals/guitar), Rasmus Søgaard Holm (lead guitar), Cornelius Bang Urup (bass), and Allan Nørskov Johansen (drums).

NIRMATA shifts between ambient, nostalgic passages, and hard-hitting sections. Their sound draws from film, history, and bands like Katatonia, Muse, Black Peaks, and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. On their debut album "Averno", the music circles around what it means to be human - how we grow, break, and seek connection with each other in a world that feels chaotic. The band consists of Victor Isager Høvring (vocals), Jacob Vejter Ottosen (drums), Ross McPherson (bass), and Andreas Foverskov (guitar).

ÆKVATOR is an alternative rock trio from Frederikshavn rooted in 1990s grunge. Distorted guitars and honest lyrics are at the core, and this summer they released the single "Crocodile Tears". The band features Christoffer Poulsen (vocals/bass), Mark Zhukov Wilhelmsen (drums/backing vocals), and Sebastian Hald Andersen (lead guitar).
