Amalie Langballe (born 1992) is a Danish author and journalist who trained at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, graduating in 2017. Her 2019 debut novel 'forsvindingsnumre' - an autofictional account of grief after her mother's death - won the Bogforum Debut Prize, and she has since published the conversation book 'Forsøg udi håb' (2021), the novel 'elskende' (2025) and the essay collection 'Nye dyder' (2026). Her 2025 novel, set in a medieval brothel, won Politikens Litteraturpris in 2026.
