Anette Krag Månsson is the head archivist at Køge Byhistoriske Arkiv and a leading voice in communicating the city's local history to the public. Before moving to Køge she spent years at Ringsted Museum & Arkiv/Museum Vestsjælland, where she developed walking tours, exhibitions and digital learning resources - including a biennial medieval festival. In Køge she has become closely associated with the Køge Huskors witch trials, Denmark's largest witch persecution, and was the driving force behind the BESAT exhibition at Køge Museum.
Anette Månsson guided visitors on a witch town walk and down into the historic prison cellar under the town hall at the Occult Market at Køge Museum in collaboration with Copenhagen Occult Club.
Køge Archives is a co-organizer of Witch Days 2026, an inter-institutional event created in collaboration with Køge Libraries, Teaterbygningen, Køge Museum, Køge Art Association and Youth Culture House TAPPEN.
Witch Days was held for the first time in 2025 to commemorate the condemned women from Køge Huskors, and Anette Månsson has researched the old court documents and investigated the life stories of the condemned women.
Anette Månsson guided a city walk about the witch trials at the Occult All Saints Market at Køge Museum on 25 October 2025.
The exhibition POSSESSED opened at Køge Museum on 21 June 2024 with Anette Månsson as the expert source behind the presentation of the city's 17th-century witch trials.
