Esben Munk Pedersen is a Danish singer-songwriter from Hjerm in western Jutland who performs under the name Esben Munk. He writes Danish-language folk and pop-rock songs with socially critical and personal themes, drawing comparisons to C.V. Jørgensen and Peter Sommer. His 2022 debut album 'Højlydt Undren', released on the Blikflak label, earned airplay on DR's P3, P4 and P6 BEAT. He was selected early in his career for DR's talent programme KarriereKanonen.
Esben Munk participates in the cross-disciplinary project Munk & Bille together with author Johanne Bille and guitarist/producer Simon Ask (Katinka Band), where music and literature are combined in a shared concert format.
