Karen Ertbølle Madsen is a Danish choral conductor trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. She founded Kammerkoret Nordglød in 2018 and serves as its artistic director - a mixed chamber choir based in Virum that performs classical a cappella choral music rooted in the Nordic sound ideal. She previously conducted Roskilde Studiekor from 2008 to 2016 and has also led Elverhøjkoret and several church choirs. Her programming consistently links classical choral repertoire to contemporary themes and stories.
