OPENING CONCERT: Mozart - Between Sorrow & Light

Katrine Gislinge (born 1969) is a Danish pianist who has established herself as one of Scandinavia's leading soloists and chamber musicians since her Copenhagen debut in 1992. She trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and later studied with Seymour Lipkin in New York and Boris Berman at Yale. Her repertoire runs from Viennese classicism and Romanticism to contemporary works - she is particularly associated with Mozart's piano concertos and the music of her husband, composer Bent Sørensen, who has written numerous pieces for her. Katrine Gislinge released in January 2026 the album 'Bent Sørensen: 12 Nocturnes & Piano Concerto No. 3 "La sera estatica"' on Dacapo Records with Copenhagen Phil under John Storgårds - including the world premiere of Sørensen's third piano concerto.
