Kristian Lilholt (born 27 July 1956) is a Danish composer, musician and songwriter who made his recording debut in 1976 and has since released 15 solo albums. He co-founded Lars Lilholt Band in 1983 and remained a member for 22 years, while simultaneously building a solo career in instrumental music that has drawn comparisons to Enya and Mark Knopfler. His cross-disciplinary project LAND - combining painting, poetry, music and film - is considered his most ambitious work.
