Massacre are an American death metal band from Tampa, Florida, founded in 1984 by, among others, vocalist Kam Lee - who also played in Mantas, the early incarnation of Death. Their 1991 debut *From Beyond* (Earache Records) is regarded as a cornerstone of the Florida death metal scene, driven by raw, H.P. Lovecraft-inspired horror lyrics. Despite repeated lineup changes and hiatuses, the band released their fifth studio album, *Necrolution*, on Agonia Records in November 2024.
Jason Banning joined Massacre as second live guitarist ahead of the band's Australia and Asia tour in May 2025.
Massacre announced a comprehensive tour of Australia and Asia - 'From Beyond Down Under / Death In Asia Tour 2025' - with stops in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo and Mumbai, among others.
Massacre released the fifth studio album *Necrolution* on November 8, 2024 via Agonia Records - an album that deliberately returns to the death metal sound of the late 1980s.
The band announced *Necrolution* in September 2024 with the single 'The Colour Out of Space' as the first taste of the album.
Massacre returned with the fourth studio album *Resurgence*, released on October 22, 2021.
