Nikolaj Christensen (born 19 February 1966 in Vesterbro, Copenhagen) is a Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as frontman of the rock band Nikolaj & Piloterne. He broke through in 1989 with the debut album "Piloter" and its hits "Du er min", "Engel" and "Ridder af kærligheden", winning a Danish Grammy for Best New Name in 1990. He and the band have gone on to build a long catalogue of Danish rock staples, performing both full-band shows and stripped-down acoustic sets across Denmark.
Nikolaj & Piloterne celebrate 35 years anniversary with a nationwide tour, which has among other things played at Musik i Østerskoven in June 2026 and performs in the country's four largest cities.
