Steen Ramsgaard is a Danish freelance journalist, travel guide and author with over 35 years in journalism. He worked as a desk editor at Politiken's foreign desk and as a reporter for TV-Avisen, covering the Gulf War and the Balkan conflicts in the 1990s. In 2016 he published the book "Krigen i Europas baggård" about the wars in former Yugoslavia.
