About

Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado are a Danish blues and roots rock band who have toured relentlessly across Europe and beyond since the early 2000s. The eight-piece outfit - horns, organ, twin guitars - blends Chicago blues, southern soul and boogie into a tight live show that has made them one of Europe's most in-demand acts on the blues circuit. They have won four Danish Music Awards and were named Best Band at the European Blues Awards. Their 2014 album Too Many Roads broke them internationally, and they have since performed in more than 20 countries.
