The Minds of 99 are a Danish rock band from Frederiksberg, formed in 2012 by five childhood friends. Singing exclusively in Danish, they blend 1980s post-punk and new wave with contemporary pop rock. All four of their studio albums have gone platinum in Denmark, and in June 2024 they became the first act - Danish or international - to sell out three consecutive nights at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The Minds of 99 announced an arena tour in spring 2026 with four concerts at Royal Arena in Copenhagen and two at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning - the band's first headliner arena shows since 2022.
The concert film 'The Minds of 99 - Tre døgn i Parken', directed by Martin Werner, had its cinema premiere on February 20, 2025 and documents the three historic Parken concerts from June 2024.
The Minds of 99 won the award for Danish Live Act of the Year at the GAFFA Prize 2025.
The band announced a festival tour for summer 2025 with seven Danish festivals and one in the Faroe Islands, including Northside, Tinderbox and Nibe Festival.
The Minds of 99 played three sold-out concerts in a row at Parken in June 2024 - as the first band ever, Danish or foreign, to do so - for a total of approximately 150,000 spectators.
