Will Bernard is a guitarist and bandleader from Berkeley, California, now based in Brooklyn. He has earned two Grammy nominations - one with T.J. Kirk (1996) and one for his own album *Party Hats* (2007) - and has recorded or performed with Charlie Hunter, John Medeski, Stanton Moore, Dr. Lonnie Smith and Tom Waits, among others. His music moves freely between funk, avant-garde jazz and New Orleans groove, and he has toured widely across the US and Europe.
