About the venue

Aalborghallen is the main hall of Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center (AKKC), with origins going back to 1933 when the first hall was built for the Nordjysk Udstilling trade fair. The current hall opened in 1953 and holds up to 2,798 people. Its stage was built to the same specifications as the Old Stage of the Royal Danish Theatre, making it suitable for large-scale productions. The space hosts concerts, opera, musicals, trade fairs and congresses, and can be divided by two mobile walls to suit different events.
