About the venue

Frihedsmuseet - the Museum of Danish Resistance - sits in Churchillparken and chronicles the Danish resistance movement during the German occupation of 1940-45. The collection includes personal belongings, illegal newspapers and documents from the occupation years. The current building reopened in 2020 after a fire and extensive renovation.
