Thurø Bibliotek is housed at Thurø Skole and was the first library in Svendborg Kommune to serve as both a school and a public library. Visitors of all ages can draw on the school library's materials as well as the full Svendborg Bibliotek collection of books, films, magazines and games. The space doubles as a workspace and lounge for pupils and local residents alike, with rotating exhibitions on the shelves. Self-service access is available every day, with staffed hours one day a week.
