Hørestad - Åstrand/Mogensen

Violinist Christina Åstrand and accordionist Bjarke Mogensen perform on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at Ørestad Bibliotek in Copenhagen as part of the Hørestad festival. The concert is free and features works from Vivaldi to contemporary composers - La Notte, Drømmespil, Nightsong, Nocturne and Svanesang set the tone for an early autumn concert of quiet reflection. Ørestad Bibliotek is located at Arne Jacobsens Allé 19 in the modern Ørestad district and shares its building with Ørestad School and Ørestad Gymnasium. Åstrand performs three Danish concerts in total - after Copenhagen, she returns to Garnisonskirken in October and Kulturarkaden in Vordingborg next year.
