Summer Concerts at the Elephant Organ - Organist Lars Sømod Jensen

Organist Lars Sømod Jensen performs Baroque music on the Elefantorglet at Vor Frelsers Kirke in Copenhagen on Tuesday, 25 August 2026 at 19:30. Admission is free and the concert is part of a century-old summer series at this magnificent Baroque organ. Vor Frelsers Kirke in Christianshavn is a Baroque church from 1696, distinguished by its striking spire with an external spiral staircase. The Elefantorglet was inaugurated in 1700 and ranks among Northern Europe's great Baroque organs. Jensen, who has served as organist at the church for 25 years, performs works by Bach, Buxtehude, Vierne and Duruflé - he returns to the same venue later in the year.
