K. E. Løgstrup's Thought

K. E. Løgstrup's Thought - lecture series: 3 November – 2 December 2026, Christianskirken, Sønderborg, Sønderborg. Tickets cost 400 kr.

Sønderborg Folkeuniversitet presents a lecture series of four talks on K.E. Løgstrup (1905-81), considered Denmark's most significant theological and philosophical thinker since Søren Kierkegaard. His work is increasingly gaining recognition abroad. The core of his work concerns interpersonal life - its conditions for happiness and suffering, the role of religion and art, and ethics.

The series consists of four independent lectures:

• Life, work and time (21 Oct.)
• Human evil and the goodness of life (3 Nov.)
• Ethics (17 Nov.)
• Faith as trust (2 Dec.)

The lecturer is Bjørn Rabjerg, cand.mag. and ph.d. He was formerly director of the Løgstrup Archive at Aarhus University and has taught philosophy at Hadsten Højskole since 2023. Participants from last year's Kierkegaard series will remember him for his pedagogical and engaged lecture style.

The lectures take place in Christianskirken's parish hall.
