Over the weekend, you'll learn the complete process behind designing a knitted sweater. Starting with a knit swatch, you'll discover how to calculate a sweater that fits your measurements perfectly and gain insight into how fit, size, and construction work together. This knowledge will let you design and adapt your own projects in the future.

Before the course, you'll knit a mini sweater to test the techniques that might be most challenging. You'll work on armhole shaping, neckline, and center front, then move on to seaming techniques, edgings, and buttonholes. You'll receive thorough guidance so you can confidently pick up the scissors.

What to bring:
Your pre-made knit swatch (pattern sent after registration)

Wool yarn in two colors plus yarn from your swatch

Knitting needles that match your yarn

Calculator (your phone's calculator works fine)

Paper, pencil, and eraser

Needle and scissors

Optionally a sewing machine if you have one - it reduces waiting time for the instructor's machine.
