Food for Mental Health: Saturday 7 November 2026, 13:30–14:30, Nørrebro Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Nutritional psychiatry is a research field that examines the connection between food, gut microbiome, inflammation, and mental health - and the latest research shows a clear picture that what we eat affects our mental wellbeing.

Author and nutrition communicator Kamilla Rønnestad has followed the field for ten years and guides us from the laboratory to the kitchen table: how food can reduce the risk of depression, contribute to its treatment, and improve overall quality of life. The lecture is part of Nørrebro Library's themed day on food.

Admission is free - book a ticket on Billetto or just show up on the day. The event is part of Copenhagen Libraries' festival "Wild About Science", which runs through October-November at libraries across Copenhagen municipality with lectures and talks for adults on non-fiction and scientific topics.
