At the Creative Table: Women Who Changed the World

In July and August, Højbjerg Library focuses on women who have changed the world through creative activities inspired by their stories.

This Saturday is about Jane Goodall - a British biologist and leading expert on chimpanzees. She discovered, among other things, that chimpanzees make and use tools, live in large social communities, and show physical affection such as kissing and hugging.

Today's LEGO challenge is to build a good home for the chimpanzees. Think about what they need: a social group, outdoor areas with trees and climbing opportunities. You can also explore what they like to eat and what they use to build nests.

Finished models can be displayed on the white shelf in the children's library.
