Vision theme day at Prøverummet

If you experience changes in your vision or face daily challenges due to reduced sight, you can get knowledge and guidance about the available support options here.

Vision consultant Malene Æbelø Preuss and assistive technology case officer Lone Layendecker, both from the Center for Assistive Devices and Communication, along with welfare technology consultant Jytte Nørgaard are ready to provide guidance at Prøverummet. The day opens with presentations on selected eye conditions, and you can learn about AMD and its impact on vision, about Charles Bonnet syndrome and how it is experienced, as well as information about support options that can ease daily life with reduced sight. There is also an opportunity for an informal conversation about the challenges that reduced sight brings to everyday life.

The presentation itself starts at 10:00. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to see some of the assistive devices and discuss what might be relevant for you individually. Applications will not be processed on the theme day.

The event is free, and registration is not required. Please note that there may be some waiting time for individual consultations.
