Free entry

Three lecturers from Copenhagen and Aarhus University - Aske Skovmand Bosselmann, Anders Sanchez Barfod, and Kjeld Hermansen - present a streaming lecture on coffee from multiple academic perspectives: the biology, cultivation and processing of coffee plants, sustainable coffee, the impact of climate change on the future of coffee, and the health aspects of coffee drinking.

The lecture takes place on Tuesday, November 3rd from 7-9 PM, with arrival at 6:45 PM. Entry is free, but registration is required - call +45 24 49 61 82.

The event is a collaboration between Ældresagen Ølstykke and Egedal Bibliotekerne.

About the venue: Ølstykke Bibliotek

Ølstykke Bibliotek is part of Egedalbibliotekerne and occupies a 1960s building in the centre of Ølstykke. It serves residents of Ølstykke Stationsby, Gl. Ølstykke, Tangbjerg and Værebro, offering books, e-books, audiobooks and digital resources. Alongside lending services, the library regularly hosts author evenings, talks, reading clubs and children's activities.

About: Aske Skovmand Bosselmann

Based at the University of Copenhagen's IFRO, Aske Skovmand Bosselmann has spent decades doing fieldwork with smallholder farmers across Africa and Asia, mapping how climate change and EU regulation reshape the coffee and cocoa sectors. He advises Danish authorities and collaborates with international research institutions worldwide.
