Baby Rhythm Activity
Sundby Bibliotek, Copenhagen · 60 kr. · ≈ 8 €
Baby Rhythm Activity - communication and first aid: 11 November – 26 November 2026, Sundby Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 60 kr.
For expectant parents and their partners, as well as parents and caregivers of babies aged 0-12 months.
Before a baby can speak, understanding what it is trying to communicate can feel like guessing. This lecture shows that it is actually possible to communicate with your baby before it can talk - and at the same time stimulate its language development. Using words, sound play, rhythm and baby signs, you will gain tools to understand your baby's spontaneous signals, including fussing. The lecture also briefly covers factors that can delay language development, and includes time for a singing game and a somersault or two.
The final minutes are dedicated to refreshing first aid techniques for foreign objects in the airways of babies aged 0-12 months. You are welcome to sit on a chair or yoga mat with your baby, and diaper changes, breastfeeding, bottle feeding and baby sounds are all welcome during the session. After the lecture, notes will be sent by email to those who request them.
The lecture is aimed at expectant parents, parents and grandparents with children aged 0-12 months. Strollers are parked outside Kvarterhuset, if necessary outside the hall.
Instructor: authorised physiotherapist and first aid instructor Marianne Mogensen, Fysio-Firstaid. Marianne has written the book "After Birth - Training and Baby Play".
