Postnatal workshop

Tummy time is important for your baby's development - it strengthens the back and neck and lays the foundation for later crawling and sitting. Yet many babies struggle with tummy time and don't enjoy it.

At the workshop you'll learn exercises, tips and ideas for tummy time play using simple and inexpensive materials, so you don't need to invest in expensive equipment. The second half covers baby massage: simple techniques for play and stimulation, and for relieving issues like a sluggish digestion. After the session, notes will be emailed to those who request them.

The workshop takes place in the Hall on the ground floor and is for (grand)parents with children aged 0-8 months - pregnant people are also welcome and can bring a doll or stuffed animal. Bring your own soft mat for you and your baby. The instruction is in Danish, but questions in English are welcome, and everyone can participate.

The instructor is authorized physiotherapist and first aid instructor Marianne Mogensen, www.denfriefys.dk, who has written the book "After Birth - Training and Baby Play". If you're hungry, you can buy a homemade bun from Café Mors Varme Hænder from 10:00 or stay for lunch from 12:00.
