Just One Bite - Greener Food for Kids
Ringsted Bibliotek, Ringsted · 75–100 kr. · ≈ 10–13 €
How do you get children involved in the kitchen during the busy evening hours - and how do you build good eating habits without stress and criticism?
Christian Schødts is a food educator at a Copenhagen kindergarten, regular chef on Good Morning Denmark on TV2, and father of two young children. In this lecture, he shares his experiences with children, vegetables, and everyday cooking based on the cookbook Just One Bite - Greener Food for Children. He explains how cooking can become a space for play, presence, and community.
He offers practical ideas for involving children in the kitchen - even when they only peel half a carrot, or eggshells end up in the pancake batter. It's not about perfection, but about participation and making everyday meals greener, more child-friendly, and more fun for the whole family.
The lecture is aimed at parents, grandparents, and anyone with children close to their hearts. Venue: The Activity Room.
