Thursday Secrets with Miriam Poulsen: Thursday 29 October 2026, 19:00–21:00, BMA, Maltfabrikken i Ebeltoft, Ebeltoft. Tickets cost 95 kr.

Miriam Poulsen, known from the Instagram phenomenon Thursday Secrets, has spent years collecting anonymous confessions from Danes. For this evening, she draws on secrets from Syddjurs and takes us into the world of family secrets.

In conversation with cultural mediator Marianne Trier Josefsen, they explore what secrets do to relationships, why we keep them hidden, and what happens when they finally come to light.

About the venue: BMA, Maltfabrikken i Ebeltoft

BMA - short for Bibliotek, Museum og Arkiv (Library, Museum and Archive) - brings together Syddjurs Library, Museum Østjylland and the Ebeltoft local history archive under one roof. It occupies three floors of the old malting halls in Maltfabrikken, a red brick factory dating from 1861 that closed in 1998 and reopened as a cultural centre in 2020. Visitors can move freely between local history, archaeology, literature and archive material, and the garden room offers a panoramic view over Ebeltoft Vig and the Mols hills. Admission is free.
