Niels Mortensen, former city archivist in Skive, gives a lecture about Anine Michelsen, who was born in 1885 and was one of the most prominent women in the Skive region.

At age 18, Anine came to Skive to learn the baker's trade from Anna Topp, who ran a home bakery at Torvegade 12. Already the following year she took over as manager. With her enterprising spirit, she grew the bakery into a confectionery with 15 employees - all women.

Today, you can visit her memorial rooms in Torvegade, which tell the story of Anine Michelsen's entrepreneurship and her many travels abroad.
