Jazz Sabbath (ENG)

Jazz Sabbath is a British jazz trio fronted by pianist Adam Wakeman, who has played with both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's solo band since 2004. The trio takes Black Sabbath's repertoire and reimagines it as jazz, arguing that jazz elements have always been hidden within the songs.

Since 2020, all three releases have charted high on the Billboard Jazz Chart. Record Store Day mono editions sold out within days, and a livestream from Leverkusen Jazz Festival in Germany has now surpassed one million views. Nearly all 29 concerts on the EU/UK tour in 2025 sold out well in advance.

The trio presents itself as founded in 1968 and as the true originators of the songs that Black Sabbath later made famous. Since 2022, they have toured the world and performed at international jazz festivals.
