About

Jazz Sabbath is a British jazz trio led by pianist Adam Wakeman, who played keyboards and guitar with Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's band from 2004 onward. The trio performs jazz renditions of Black Sabbath songs, maintaining a tongue-in-cheek fictional backstory that they wrote the songs in 1968 and were plagiarised by the Birmingham rockers. Three studio albums since 2020 have all charted on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, and in 2026 Wakeman won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance for his role in Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert.
