Digital Sovereignty — Hotel Alsik, Sønderborg

Business conference at Hotel Alsik in Sønderborg on digital sovereignty and Europe's digital future. The day features presentations, debates and networking with experts, decision-makers and companies - focusing on digital autonomy and European competitiveness.

The premise is that Denmark and Europe have digitalized rapidly, but not on their own terms. Deep dependence on global tech giants undermines competitiveness, innovation and autonomy. The conference brings together participants from business, the public sector, research and innovation to discuss how digital independence can be strengthened in practice.

The programme covers Europe's digital position and opportunities, future digital infrastructure and cloud, open source and alternative solutions, new requirements and regulation - including NIS2 and Cyber Resilience Act - as well as concrete examples from organizations already underway.

The conference alternates between joint presentations and separate tracks for the public and private sectors respectively. The programme is updated continuously as new speakers are announced.
