MD-DUO

MD-DUO is the duo from Thy featuring Martin Jensen and Dennis Daugaard. With over 700 concerts behind them - from local halls and harbour festivals to major festival stages - they have built a solid fanbase across the country. Martin has over 50,000 followers on social media, and catchphrases like "Godaw, venner", "Vi sigges" and "Det spiller bar'" are now fixtures among their fans.

Their debut album "Tak for i aften" came out in 2018 with tracks like "Malta" and "Gi' mig fri nu til middag". In 2020 came "Skål venner", followed by singles such as "Thy", "Limfjordsporter", "Lækker Røv" and a tribute song to Jonas Vingegaard. Their music has accumulated over 10 million streams.

Recently they had their own show on DR P3, "Godaw Venner - fra Thy til København", where they humorously guide listeners from their hometown to what they affectionately call "Eastern Europe" - that is, the capital.

As they put it themselves: "We've taken dansktop and given it a shot of youth" - and yes - "It plays".
