Science and Faith

Science and Faith - discussion: Thursday 22 October 2026, 16:30–17:45, Biblioteket Sønderborg, Sønderborg.

Can the laws of physics and belief in a creator God exist side by side - or do they exclude each other? This conversation between theologian and author Karl Aage Kirkegaard and librarian Claus Jacobsen explores that central question.

The discussion is grounded in Kirkegaard's book "Science and God", published in January 2026. The conversation circles around the big questions that science itself raises: the origin of the universe and life, the fundamental nature of things, and whether there is purpose behind it all.

The event takes place at Biblioteket Sønderborg, Level 2, Indsigten, Nørre Havnegade 15, 6400 Sønderborg.
