2 x Koppel · Koncertsalen Alsion, Sønderborg

Anders Koppel celebrates his 80th birthday with a special program at Koncertsalen Alsion in Sønderborg on Thursday, 28 January 2027. The evening features a newly composed saxophone concerto written for his son Benjamin Koppel, followed by Dvořák's Ninth Symphony conducted by Nabil Shehata. Koncertsalen Alsion is Southern Jutland's main concert hall, seating up to 988 guests and hosting classical music, opera, and lectures. This is one of two Danish dates on the tour, with Koppel also performing in Copenhagen at Tiny Church-Tolvkanten in November 2026.
