Wild About Science - The Riddles of Origin, Life and Consciousness
Østerbro Bibliotek, Copenhagen · 100 kr. · ≈ 13 €
Philosopher Morten Grønborg converses with three prominent science communicators: astrophysicist Anja C. Andersen, geologist Minik Rosing, and author Tor Nørretranders. The conversations take place on three Thursdays in November 2026 and are based on Grønborg's book "Everything is Always in Motion - A Story from the Beginning of Time", which connects the cosmos, life, and consciousness in a single narrative.
Each conversation centres on one major scientific mystery: the origin of everything (with Anja C. Andersen), the emergence and spread of life on Earth (with Minik Rosing), and human consciousness (with Tor Nørretranders). Natural philosophy - the connection between natural science and philosophy - is the common thread through all three evenings.
The events are part of Copenhagen Libraries' "Wild About Science" festival in October and November, with programming for adults at all Copenhagen Libraries. The series is best experienced as a whole; both discounted ticket packages and individual tickets are available. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event conditions change.
