Co-Knitting - Textile Co-creations

In Co-Knitting, textile artists Charlotte Østergaard and Marie Ledendal build a shared textile work together with everyone who wants to participate. The work grows continuously - both through open drop-in workshops and through contributions visitors add on their own between workshops.

The project uses recycled textiles and simple knitting techniques to explore how creating by hand can bring people, stories, and materials together. You can contribute a few stitches or engage deeply in the process over time - no knitting experience required.

Charlotte Østergaard is Danish, Marie Ledendal is Swedish, and the project unfolds in both countries as an artistic exchange across the Øresund region. It is supported by ArtCollab/Teaterhögskolan/Lunds University and the National Bank's Jubilee Fund.
