Open Rehearsal of HOME

Join an open rehearsal of HOME, premiering November 11, 2026 at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium. This is not a finished production - each open rehearsal is unique, offering a glimpse into how the performance is created and what it explores.

HOME tells the story of two people learning to live together. A house is drawn. One person lives there. Another moves in. How do you share rhythms, routines, and space when you are different? The audience is invited close as the home becomes a stage and the stage becomes a home. The performance asks what home really is - a physical place, a feeling, a person - and examines our ability to live with people we don't necessarily resemble or understand.

The performance is presented as relaxed theatre with few rules: the audience can move around, take breaks, or simply observe. HOME is created by Kaosteater in co-production with Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium and in collaboration with dramatist and director Regina Rex. It was developed through conversations with locals from Kirkens Korshær's warm room, Asylum Centre Nybobakke, and Holstebro Church. After the premiere, the performance plays at turkis in weeks 48 and 49.
