Remembering - All Saints' Concert at Holmens Church

The Baroque Society presents an All Saints' concert at Holmens Church on 30 October 2026. The evening, titled "Remembering - Actus Tragicus & Evening Hymns", places light and hope at its centre.

The programme brings together J.S. Bach's cantata Actus Tragicus BWV 106 with the world premiere of "Remembering" - a commissioned work by composer Nick Martin written especially for this occasion. Also featured are J.S. Bach's "O Jesu Christ, mein Lebens Licht" BWV 118, along with instrumental works and hymns.

Performing are The Baroque Society with Fanny Kempe (soprano), Kristin Mulders (mezzo), Petter Moen (tenor) and Simon Sumal Faurby Stycke (bass-baritone), plus Pernille Petersen and Pernille Ebert (flutes), Jesenka Balic Zunic (violoncello da spalla), Samuel Runsteen (viola da gamba), Joakim Peterson (violone) and Yngvild Haaland Ruud (organ and musical direction).

There will be an opportunity to light a candle. After the concert, the audience is invited for a glass of wine. Doors open at 18:30. TBS members receive a 20% discount on tickets - membership can be arranged on The Baroque Society's website.
