Anders Barfod

About

Anders Sanchez Barfod (born 1957) is an associate professor of botany at the Department of Biology, Aarhus University, where his research covers tropical plant resources, vegetation ecology and systematic botany. He is particularly recognized for his work on palms and agrobiodiversity, with publications in leading international journals. Beyond research, he regularly gives public lectures through Aarhus University's science outreach programme.
