Cecilia Engelbrecht Heick is a Danish jazz singer and composer, trained as a music educator at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. She writes her own lyrics and music, moving between jazz standards and the Nordic song tradition - her voice has drawn comparisons to both Billie Holiday and Liva Weel. She has released four albums and two poetry collections, including "Spring is a promise of fall" (2016) and "Til en ven", a 2019 duo album with pianist Thomas Clausen setting poems by Tove Ditlevsen to music.
