Concert with Chapper
Children's TV personality Chapper performs a free concert of rap and beatboxing at Langeland Library, followed by refreshments for all.
Chapper, born Chang Il Kim on 31 July 1973, is a Danish-Korean entertainer who became a household name through children's programmes on DR, including "Hvaffor en hånd" and "Fandango", where he showcased his skills as a beatboxer and rapper. He also works as an actor and plays bass in the dansktop group Humørekspressen - renamed Ekspressen in 2021 - which he co-founded in 2017 with Pharfar, Klumben and Peter Lützen. The group's debut single "Godter på vej" went straight to number one on Dansktoppen, and their first album "En lille én" was named Årets Dansk Top Album 2018.
Ekspressen released their third album "2300 Paris" on September 15, 2023 and celebrated it with four free pop-up concerts in one evening in Copenhagen.
Ekspressen went on the "Under Hanen Tour" in autumn 2023 with stops at venues in Rønne, Skanderborg, Holbæk, Odense and Aalborg, among others.
The group changed their name from Humørekspressen to Ekspressen to distance themselves from the satire band brand, and that same year played their largest concert to date at Amager Bio.
The band's song "Solhverv" became a summer hit in 2020 after Lord Sivas cover version achieved over 15 million plays.
Humørekspressen participated in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 with the song "Dronning af Baren" and was named Danish Top Group of the Year that same year.
