Christel Sunesen is a Danish publisher and editor running the independent press Ekbátana, which focuses on new Danish literature and cross-disciplinary works. She has received the 2023 Diploma for good book craft from Forening for Boghaandværk and the Sigvaldi Prize from the Danish Arts Foundation. She also founded the literary festival Lille Bogdag and co-owns the online bookshop Mikrofest.
