Hvalfugl is a trio from Aarhus who have been releasing albums since their 2017 debut, blending ambient textures with lyrical melodies. The group features Jonathan Fjord Bredholt on piano and harmonium, Jeppe Lavsen on guitar, and Anders Juel Bomholt on double bass. Their sound balances warm acoustic tones with subtle effects. In 2025 they won the Årets Livenavn award at DMA Jazz.
