Malene Mortensen (born 23 May 1982) is a Danish jazz vocalist and songwriter who grew up in a musical household - her mother a drummer, her father a jazz trumpeter. She came to national attention in 2001 through the TV talent show Stjerne for en aften and represented Denmark at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn. A graduate of the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, she has released more than 14 albums on Stunt Records and worked alongside international jazz names including Chris Potter, Mike Stern and Christian Sands.
